6 monthly dental check-ups, not eating or drinking sugary crap and a little magical device called a toothbrush used with some magical paste.
Another little secre, if you use it at least twice and day theres no need for people to go medicating us all.
In real terms, this means it will concentrate principally on children, since older people already either have or do not have fluorosis its contracted either in the womb or during the first five or so years of childhood.
As reported, the plans to put fluoride in tap water delivered to nearly 200,000 homes in parts of Southampton, Eastleigh, Totton, Netley and Rownhams are currently on hold because of a legal challenge.
So the children will be the guinea pigs in this obscene experiment.
It added: As the Systematic Review of Water Fluoridation indicated, a new fluoridation scheme would provide an excellent opportunity to undertake prospective research and we are keeping closely in touch with developments on the proposed scheme for Southampton.

speak for yourself, i never rejected it, its a good idea. And clearly few commenters have any idea about chemistry – at these dilutions, a fluoride ion is a fluoride ion regardless of what cation it would be attached to in the solid form.
The SHA approved the scheme after Southampton City Primary Care Trust asked it to consider introducing it in a bid to improve childrens dental health.
I am a travellor in the real season No one can say fluoride is a reason in inpregnating a nation. TEETH, i ASK YOU if we are concerned then we take Council,
Hampshire Against Fluoridation chairman Stephen Peckham said research already shows that increased fluoride in water leads to more cases of fluorosis.
I have a child with severe allergies, Im really concerned that the effects of adding flouride to the water for this reason as well as all the other problems that may occur.
You would appear to have been lucky enough to have had parents who brought you up to take care of your teeth and brush them twice a day.
I can think of plenty of other things that the money wasted through this ridiculous scheme could and should be spent on.

Ill be examining the response in detail, with a view to raising questions about it in Parliament.
He said: We know that water fluoridation substantially increases levels of dental fluorosis. Existing studies in other countries and the UK demonstrate that unequivocally.
We shouldnt be pursuing a scheme on the basis of doing research.
join you on the allergy fear, my child also has many severe allergies, so what help will this fluride be to us… so were guiena pigs for fluride and guiena pigs for biomass power station, wait till were all walking around with health problems ….

But she has since lodged an appeal against the High Court judges ruling the authoritys board members properly assessed all the evidence for and against fluoridation.
As water in the Midlands has been fluoridated since the 60s, I il to see how it could be claimed the Hampshire residents would be Guinea Pigs.

Do you know whats the testament to most peoples dental health? Them caring about their own health. Not someone else doing it for them. Certainly not people tinkering with the water supply but their own care and responsibility. My teeth are perfectly fine, no fillings, and do you know what its down to? Big shock everyone, but a little common sense could do the trick here…. 6 monthly dental check-ups, not eating or drinking sugary crap and a little magical device called a toothbrush used with some magical paste. Another little secre, if you use it at least twice and day theres no need for people to go medicating us all.
It has long been claimed that good teeth are an important part of good health, which is why fluoridation of water is under consideration. By improving the condition of teeth of those who do not realise the importance of dental care, it could also, in the long run, improve the general health of the area and so reduce some NHS costs.

The Department of Health (DoH) hopes the controversial scheme to add the chemical to tap water in and around Southampton will help with studies into dental fluorosis which in extreme cases can cause mottling and pitting of teeth.
I think the problem is that some other places naturally have flouride in the water.. whereas in Southampton we are going to put hydrofluorosilicic acid (a by-product from the chemical industry) into our water.
He said: Clearly the intent is to monitor the effects of this proposed new fluoridation project on the population of Southampton.
I wonder who will take responsisouth eastern health boardbility when the guinea pigs start suing for damages and loss of money due to the amount of bottled water that will have to be purchased.
But opponents argue too much fluoride can lead to side effects, including fluorosis, which can range from slight discoloration of teeth to the cracking of enamel.
Doug Cross, from UK Councils Against Fluoridation said research should have been done before a new scheme, not once it is in place.
I dont really like the idea of this stuff going into our water. Theres tons of stuff on the internet about how it is poisonous. But my main reason for being against it is that the state is force medicating the population against their will. Its not the kind of thing our authorities should have the right to do.
Angry opponents say it means children will be subjected to problems with their teeth for the sake of research.
The response said a major current research project into the extent and severity of dental fluorosis is currently being supported, which it is thought will cost 700,000.
Southampton mum Gerri Milner last month lost a judicial review against South Central Strategic Health Authoritys (SHA) decision to approve the scheme despite widespread public opposition.
So you have been fortunate enough to be able to afford to go private when an NHS dentist has not been available.
In a freedom of information request, the DoH was asked about the research that has been carried out into fluorosis since the Medical Research Council recommended in a 2002 study on fluoridation that more work be done looking at the problem.
I can think of plenty of other things that the money wasted through this ridiculous scheme could and should be spent on.
New Forest East MP Julian Lewis, who has campaigned against the f luoridation scheme, said he could now raise the issue with ministers.
Dont know what part of the Midlands is supposed to have had fluoride in the water since the 60s but if its where my mily live then fluoride is obviously damaging to teeth as people I know there have had r worse problems with their teeth/gums that we do here and many have lost their teeth by the time theyve reached their 40s/50s!
Some children are going to get fluorosis that will damage their teeth, and the whole scheme, from that point of view, is wrong.
He said: Are they suggesting this scheme should go ahead to help them carry out research? If thats the case, its outrageously arrogant.
